Loxone configuration to obtain hourly Spot Prices for electricity

Epex Spot Price set-up.pdf Loxone configuration for obtaining hourly Spot Prices for electricity from the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSOE) using Spot Price Optimizer.

Concept:
At the start of every day we request the electricity hourly Spot Prices for that day from the ENTSOE web site via an API call. Access to this data is free of charge and is made available every day from 14h00 onward for the next day. The API returns the prices in XML format.
We extract the price in Euro/MWh for each hour from the XML file using Virtual Inputs and present this data to the Loxone Spot Price Optimizer function block. We convert the price to Euro/kWh using a formula that also takes into account your electricity provider price formula and taxes/VAT.
The Loxone Spot Price Optimizer function block is now ready to intelligently control loads.
