Installed Loxberry in Raspberry PI 3 Model B+ microSD card compatibility

    Hi all

Sorry for english and also for such question but I couldnt find such reply...

I would like to ask simple question. I have already installed loxberry (v1.4.0.3) on in Raspberry PI 3 Model B+ (16GB microSD card) and used it for years but my raspi is not working anymore so I would like to ask if I take out microSD card I can put it to any Raspberry Pi model and all should be working as before without any setup and with all plugins installed?
Or I can use this card only in exactly same Raspberry PI 3 Model B+ please?

    Thanks for any reply

Unfortunately LoxBerry V1.4 is not compatible with Pi 4 models. On Pi 4 the Image won't Boot up.

You can put in the SD card to any model Pi1-3 without any change required.

You can use Win32Diskimager to read the Image to your Windows PC via an mmc card Reader.

Error 32 is "used by another process".
Close All other Windows, Popups, application, AntiVirus, Windows Explorer,... and try again.

Oh sorry, this is CRC error.
Try to run W32Diskimager as Administrator (ri click, run as Administrator) and try again.
If this fails, the SD card is broken.

Are you Sure that the PI is broken, and not "only" your SD?

Thanks Christion for reply and help!
I have always tried few times as run as administrator but always same error.
I will trie later at home also different PC and also another card reader to see if error apear.

                  Regarding my issue:
I have few outages electricity last week and I have found that loxberry is not working and I was not able to find loxberry on network.
I could see red LED on Raspberry PI flashing so I suppose it could be power supply issue. I have measured by multimeter 3,79V instead of 5V and 3,02V instead of 3,3V so I have changed power supply unit and just to confirm I went meassure again by multimeter and it was correct 5,5V and 3,3V and also I clould see green LED (ACT) flashing but becasue I am stupid I shorted 5V pin with 3,3V pin and done!
Based on my googling there is almost no way to repair Raspberry back as you can see here.

So SDcard is damaged or I can try format and test ?
Because if i need to setup all and all plugins from begining omg...

Unfortunately I have no backup only some folders structure copy and some configuration files...

Try the sd on the other pc, but if it was not booting anymore on the Pi, it is nearly clear that it is broken.

                    Good luck!

                      Ok thanks.
Yes I will try in other PC but still not at home...
I know what you mean but maybe it was booting once I changed wrong power supply unit to new one of raspberry Pi but due to my shorted pins 5V and 3,3V it could damage not only raspberry PI but also micro SD card.
I am considering order Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and new micro SD card...
And to avoid all setup and instalation I point out thet almost same setup and version of loxberry (v1.4.0.3) I have installed already in one of me friend so I could make copy/backup of his card and write it to my new card. It is ok to make backup of his card and write same image to me new card by Win32Diskimager or there is some advantage to do it by some of the backup plugin in loxberry please?
                      Thanks

No, no difference, but you get cloned also all password, configs, Miniservers from LoxBerrys Settings.

                          Hi Christian Fenzl
I have checked SD card on other PC and adapter and as you mentioned SD card is Broken same as my Raspberry Pi model 3B+.

So I have bought second hand older Raspberry PI model 2B, and new same size SD card 16GB Scandisk and did backup of my friend loxberry (working loxberry) by Win32Diskimager and write it to me new card.
Loxberry is running and I am able to login by web browser but I am not able to change network from manual to DHCP and always there is this meassage:

                          Unfortunately an error occured :-(
System failure: Cannot open network file /opt/loxberry/system/network/interfaces

I am also not able to change hostname even I did restart after change.

And also if I change miniserver data and check miniserver authentication it is succesfull but it never Save this data.

Could you help me what I am doing wrong please?
                          Many thanks

Could you open LoxBerry‘s Healthcheck (in My LoxBerry Widget) if the sd card had mounted read-only.
