Please tell me where are your favorites.opml is located...
Normal you can find is here... /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs

Send me the file, I´ll put it in my test system to see if there is an issue.

Super, danke nun funktioniert es. Ich habe die 0.5.4 geupdatet und den TTS-Tmp-Ordner geleert und seither funktioniert die Fav. Sprachansage.

He installed the update 0.5.4, after the update please go to the Settings for TTS (Allgemein -> TTS).
You find a button to delete the tmp-folder for TTS-Files on top of the side.

After deleting all tmp file it works for Kuredu

Please give me a short notivr if it works.... So I can put the solution into the next update.

Bei mir funktioniert nun mit der 0.5.5 auch wieder alles genau so wie mit der 0.5.4. Den TTS Tmp Ordner löschen war die Lösung.

Kann nicht sagen warum, aber ich habe das nur aus dem Bauch heraus eingebaut da mir echt nichts mehr eingefallen ist.
Ich habe es auch eingebaut das nach jedem Update der TMP des TTS gelöscht wird. Dann hoffe ich das es nicht mehr vorkommen sollte das alte Files eine neue Funktion stören.

ive upgraded to 0.5.5 and cleared the cache and it works perfectly now - many thanks for the fix and support

i forgot to say, just to confirm that you can use the squeezebox player name instead of the mac address in the t5 for easier configuration

so the t5 is working now, but i have a new problem with playing favourites

im using a state block to trigger a virtual output to ms4lox to play a favourite with a volume ramp - the state block works properly, using the ia1 as a trigger, ia2 to choose the favourite, ia3 to choose the final volume and ia4 to choose the fade up time, but the favourite volume fades up twice - after first playing, it turns up the volume and at the end of the time period it goes back to the start volume, fades up again then stays at the final volume

any idea?

Can see the same problem when I try it with the same config like you.
If I put the URL in to the browser it works, if the MiniServer start the the URL I get the URL twice... ??????

I have to investigate.

Attached is the event.php with a fix that works for me.
Can you please copy the file to "/var/www/event" and do some testing with risevol/tts/ring.

If it works for you I`ll put a update together.

the new event.php works fine now with my alarm risevol/tts - many thanks as usual for fixing things so quickly
