LoxBerry V4.0.0 PRE-RELEASE

Hallo zusammen,

wir haben LoxBerry V4.0.0 als Pre-Release veröffentlicht. Die Änderungen - insbesondere bei MQTT - sind umfangreich. Nutzt es nicht auf Produktivsystemen und nur mit funktionierendem Backup zurück!

Die größte Änderung ist das MQTT Gateway V2, welches auf maximale Performance optimiert wurde. Das Gateway ist eine komplette Neuentwicklung auf Python-Basis mit vollständig asynchroner Verarbeitung. Subscriptions werden jetzt nicht mehr pauschal sondern auf Topic-Basis durchgeführt (Opt In anstatt Opt Out), sodass nur noch die Daten wirklich verarbeitet und an den Miniserver gehen, die auch benötigt/gewünscht sind.

Das alte MQTT Gateway V1 ist komplett erhalten geblieben und alle LoxBerrys, die auf V4.0.0 per update gehen, nutzen standardmäßig erst einmal das Gateway V1 weiter.

Zahlreiche weitere Optimierungen wurden durchgeführt - ganz offensichtlich ist die neue WebUI, die sogar Themes kann! Wir haben aus dem System das obsolete JQuery Mobile herausgeschmissen. Für Plugins steht es aber natürlich weiterhin zur Verfügung.

i got an error with the backup, pi5, trixie

Meine VM hat das sehr schnell ohne Zicken erledigt - bin voll begeistert

Tolle Arbeit, was ihr da bei V4 geleistet habt. :-)
Wenn ich in der MQTT Incoming Seite einen Begriff in die Suchleiste eingebe und Enter drücke, springt er zurück zur MQTT Startseite.
Kann das jemand bestätigen?

so i worked out that the backup failure only happenis if the audioserver4home plugin is running - if you stop the server then the backup compeletes

Maybe the audioserver blocks some files in his config folder and therefore the copy fails.

i found another issue on multiple systems
pi4 and pi5, 4.0.0.1
the new vs mqtt gateway starts manually after changing version, but after a loxberry restart / reboot the v2 gateway doesnt start automaticallhy
swapping back to v1 gateway restores the automatic service at boot / start

and the update from 4.0.0.0 to 4.0.0.1 stops the backup function from finding the network share folders - the select storage dropdown is greyed out forever

i tried removing and readding the netshares but this didnt fix it

the backup did work on 4.0.0.0
