Thanks for the fast reply. But if you shuffle, aren't you shuffling the entire list? Also shuffling 1, would that not only change the first song of the list?
I was thinking about starting somewhere in the list and continue playing the list.

I was wondering if somebody already starts automaticaly a playlist when for instance the front door is openend between certain hours?

What I'm searching for is a command to start playing "playlist Cynthia", but always start at a different song, so shuffle the first song.

Any ideas?

Grundsätzlich habe ich einen Milestone in meinem Plugin, die Daten vom Server direkt per Stream mitzulesen und an Loxone zu übergeben. Ich brauche sowas sowieso für den Denon Receiver, da geht das "gleich mit".
Diesen Milestone sehe ich aber auf einen längeren Zeithorizont (um Weihnachten herum, da habe ich mehr Zeit).

Ich würde dich allerdings damit "beauftragen", das zu evaluieren und mit den Autoren abzustimmen. Den Code dann einfach per PM schicken. (sorry für's "Abwälzen", der Hauptaugenmerk ist derzeit die Kernfunktionalität des Plugins selbst, neben einer Haussanierung!)

Wenn ich dann mit meiner eigenen Entwicklung soweit bin, kann ich das bisherige Script aus Kompatibilitätsgründen weiterhin drin lassen.

Du musst das PHP Script in das Web Verzeichnis des Loxberry legen.
Werte an deine Daten des MiniServer anpassen und dann per virtuellem Ausgang aufrufen.
Diesen Befehl würde ich alle ca 5 Sekunden ausführen.

Usually, with the CLI or within an App, you would search the album and send a "playlist play"-Command to insert the album to the playlist and start playing.
The button-Commands emulate the navigation with an original Squeezebox.

The problem is, that Loxone cannot communicate in an bidirectional way with the server.
In an App, the App requests the album list with it's ID's, so an App knows, 'now I play ID 89', and if you press some album-change-button in the App, it sends 'now play ID 90'.
As within Loxone you cannot bidirectionally interact, Loxone never knows that it's playing ID 89, so it cannot send the request for ID 90.

The command to add an album to the playlist using an index is
playlistcontrol cmd:load album_id:90

I use the Logitech app, but having everything centralized in the Loxone app is just nicer. It is strange that the Squeezebox command "play" is not the same as the play button. I tried also to emulate the button press (using the command "button play") and the command "enter", but neither allows me to start the new album. For sure there must be some command that allows for it...

Small question... Suppose you have an album playing, and you want to select a different album. Using the remote control you would use the arrows, and when you have the album you want, you press play.

I set a media controller with the cursor and other buttons, but the command "play" behaves differently: it does not start the selected album but "unpauses" the playing one if it was paused. Which command do you use to select the new album?

Das mit dem Springen auf 100 hatte ich schon mal gelesen und deswegen eine andere Lösung gesucht.
Du hast beim 2 Auswahltasen auch die Möglichkeit des Silders, und auch der Wert wird über P zurück vom LMS gegeben

Den Dimmer nehme ich wegen des Sliders (obwohl in der neuen App ist der eh wirklich zu ungenau ist).
Das Problem beim Dimmer ist, dass er bei einem kurzen Klick auf + sofort von 0 auf 100 springt. Da ich den LMS-Volume-Wert bei P einspeise, kommt es in manchen Situationen vor, dass dieser Wert 0 wird (z.B. MS-Restart oder Raspberry-Restart).

hier habe ich (unten) die Langzeitklick-Varianten beschreiben, die funktionieren:

Verwende ich so bei meinen KNX-Tastern.

Für das Limitieren der Lautstärke verwende ich einen Statusbaustein (siehe Screenshots). Ich verwende dafür beide Ausgänge des Statusbausteins (d.h. ich verwende den Statustext auch als Wert-Ausgang).
Wenn die Lautstärke 0 ist, setze ich am Dimmer Max = 25 (Standardlautstärke) und gebe an den LMS 25 aus.
Ist die Lautstärke nicht 0, setze ich Max=100 und schleife den Wert des Dimmers mit <v1> durch.
Das funktioniert mit der Einschränkung, dass die Zone immer mit 25 startet, statt mit dem beim Abschalten eingestellten Wert.

Ich nutze dazu nicht den Dimmer, sondern den Baustein 2 Auswahltasten....
Hatte noch nie das Problem mir dem 100% beim neustart, brauche somit auch keinen extra Statusbaustein.
