    Dear Deluxe, aw_ch,

I also have a D&W X2S3 unit, and connected it with the Loxone MS using the RS232 extension and the RS-232 D&W adapter board. I'd like if the system could be connected with the Modbus-RTU or better TCP link in the next future (I've heard some rumors but don't know the actual status...).

    Here included you can find:
    - Documents I've got for Modbus parameters, and used them to check and integrate Loxone with X2S3, FW4.12

    - Screenshot of the HeatPump parameters I can read & Command (electrical values comes from a separated energy meter connected via Modbus)
WP 1456 \v is always 0 (should return the WP actual task)

    - Screenshot of the Luftung parameters I can read & Command:
LU 230 \v (even if I do not have any D&W CO2 sensor installed the output is 700!!!)

    - About Room temperature read from the Touch panel: you need to set the reading variable TP 200 \v. TP variables are not described (at least I do not have any docs.)

    WP 5036 0\n\r
    WP 5036 1\n\r
This is the command to activate/deactivate the BAD+ function, I've not been able to let it work...

    WP 5492 1\n\r
    WP 5492 0\n\r
This is the command to activate/deactivate the BAD Heizung function, I've not been able to let it work...

      Servus,

      @Pippo74: Thanks for the Modbusparameter list V 4.12 !

        Deluxe :

if you see in my Luftung Screenshot you'll see that the SW version is 0

This is parameter1156 \v. It's actually zero because tonight I did some play around this parameter, and probably comm. went down on it. That's why today I'll probably switch-off&on the unit to reset the comm.

            Dear Stieger,

I also do not have Psiioroom Option, I've an X2S3 and I already equipped my radiant floor collectors with the Loxone Tree Actuators. Are u doing the same?

At the moment I still did not came to the HC thing, since we're still (for not so much time...) not in a pure climatization phase. Also, I'm now working to refine the automatic shading to keep low the thermal load into the rooms, since we're close to the summer season. Furthermore, I'm also working to have Ventilation set to FreeCooling to get fresh air from ouside, at least until outside air won't go over 23...24°C.
So, I really would like to activate my passive cooling (in your case I believe it will be an active cooling) just when the inside temperature will "escape" over 24...25°C.

In this case I'm quite sure I should not have the problem you describe, so to have Hot water in the radiant floor of a certain room and Cold water in the room next to this...

              Hi Pippo74,
yes, I'm doing the same with Tree Actuators and without PsioRoom.
The question is, how to intelligently integrate it into Loxone. Connecting it to the HC does not work for me.

            Hi Stieger,

Actually at the moment still not activated... I've implemented the Tree actuators in the auto configuration, and applied a couple of simple logics:
            1) In the bathrooms I'm using a small hybrid towels-heater, so when I'm going to use it with resistors (PV energy in excess) I'm locking the actuator output, to avoid warming-up the radiant floor...
            2) in summer, if the passive cooling from D&W is active, will lock the same Tree actuators for the towel-heaters and the bathroom radiant floor loop too.

But the main Cooling activation logic is at the moment not under Loxone control, but it is directly commanded by the D&W Touch Panel located in a quite good place in the living room (t-sensor and threshold set for cooling both in the D&W Touch Panel).

I'd like to have a better system but at the moment I'm quite afraid/not sure about how to activate it...

              Hi zusammen,

(siehe Raumregelung)

                  Dear Stieger,

that's the missing bit I was looking for, thanks a lot for this useful feedback and info!

                  So:
                  1) First u need to set "PsiioRoom" into the parameter Modus EinzelRaumRegelung, in ID140 (WP) , which is set to "nothing" by default.
                  2) Second, you need to use the command WP 1414 to set in which mode the WP should work: heating, cooling, off.
I've attached some screenshots just to be 100%:

Regarding the command u have at the output of the AND I believe it's like the screenshot you can see here.

Nevertheless: I'm also using RS-232 adapter and Loxone extension, but if it's possible I would like to move to ModbusRTU (maybe the RS485 you described) or even better I've heard that soon or later ModbusTCP will work. At the moment I've FW version 4.12, do you know if already exhist a newer version with the Modbus protocol enabled?

Thanks a lot again, I'm really anxious to test it asap! J

Pippo74 The AND is used to also switch the WP to Off, exatly like your screenshots. Otherwise the WP runs and runs.

I habe the FW 4.12.92. I only know the developer asked me by phone if I‘ve connected it via RS485. He mentioned that that‘s the most actual connection method. Anythong else, I‘m not aware of.

                    regards

                      Dear Stieger,

I've tried and the Loxone logic seems to work just fine. Also the X2S3 at first correctly get the command to activate the cooling (I see the Coolin icon on D&W touch panel), also to stop it when the demand goes below the x% (in my case it's 30%). The problem arise when it should turn again ON the cooling, it does not work (even if the logic correctly send the command WP 1414 3\n\r and I can see the 1 logic on the Cooling request)
I also include here the Klima Controller parameters in case I've set some wrong variables.
The only way here is to re-download the current configuration down the MS (In MiniServer speichern), as soon as the MS is alive again I can see the D&W touch panel with the cooling icon active...

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

I've seen that I had the Klima Controller set to mode 2 (only cooling if percentage reached), instead of 0 to switch between colling and heating. I've to test that out, but until now the summer gave me no choice to test the heating too. I've activated the statistics for the 3 actors now to see when it's off, heating or cooling.

The only difference I have in the config is 35% because of the amount of the rooms I have. Let's test how it reacts.

                            Dear Stieger,

here you can see my last setting. I've added a couple of protections, to prevent the communication interlocks I've noticed during those days:

1- I've added the "Summer Mode" to the Mode Input of the Klima Controller, so that in this season it can only have 2 (Cooling)
2- I've added a "delay activation line" coming from the "Anforderung WP Extern AUS" and going to the Cooling activation, to avoid two different messages will be sent at the same time to the or X2A9/X2Sx devices.

In this way it works just fine!.

p.s. as u can see I've also included the Master (or Central) IRC, interesting if u want to also send to the X2A9/X2Sx the vorlaufsolltemperatur, buffersolltemp. etc. In my case it does not make sense (I've a passive cooling with the X2S3), in your case you can decide the temperature of the FBK, for instance delivering the minimum possible which is the Dew Point temperature I've set here. (As per the UNI EN 1264-3, the vorlaufsolltemperatur should not exceed 1°C below the Dew Point Temperature)
