hismastersvoice Passt, deswegen hatte ich den Code auch nur in den PN Thread gepostet.

Bei dem LMSPlugin für den LoxBerry musste ich damals explizit die arm-Version nehmen, die war damals im All-Paket nicht enthalten. Vielleicht haben sie das mittlerweile geändert, habe ich aber gar nicht probiert.

My mini computer has 2 network ports, which results into an incorrect "interfaces" modification by the installation script.

The system don´t work if two Network-Cards are active.
I don´t change that behavior, becouse the Music-Server don´t need the second Network-Card.
So turn off one card in the Bios.

I tried in new version 1.0.6 use the volume controls for every channel on both my cards but it didn`t work for me. I had to set the volume for each channel through alsamixer command on my NUC computer with Debian.

The Alsa Volume should be ~100%
The channel volume is not comparable to the alsa direct, so if you only go down 5% you will not hear a difference.
Try to go reset alsa to 100% and the channel to 50% than you will hear a big difference.

More Info about your System is needed. Also a screenshot from the Zone-Settings
Please show me the soundcard config

Change XX with zone number 01,02,03...

Wenn 1 Zone läuft, und ich im Zentral Baustein ganz oben auf pause drücke, schaltet sich die eine Zone ab, aber alle anderen ein. Das kann doch so nicht richtig sein.

Mir gefällt das Verhalten auch nicht, aber der MiniServer gibt das Signal genau so weiter.

Nein, Steuerung im Zentralbaustein arbeitet wie erwartet. Schalte ich eine Zone aus, geht auch nur diese aus.

Missverständnis...

Er meint die Zentrale Bedienung über den Zonen die alle Zonen Play/Pause/leiser/lauter steuert.

Ist eine Zone auf Play, und ich drücke Pause ohne das ich eine Zone angewählt habe, geht die Zone auf Pause, die anderen aber auf Play.
Bei Play passt das, alle Zonen gehen auf Play, nur bei Pause scheint quasi ein State wechsel zu passieren.

Nein, auch dann nicht @roadi:

Eine Zone spielt ab -> grünes II (Pause) Symbol im Zentralbaustein Musik. Klicke ich nun im oberen Feld das "alle Zonen II (Pause)" Symbol geht auch nur diese Zone aus, alle anderen bleiben aus. Drücke ich hingegen das "alle Zonen Play Symbol" gehen natürlich alle Zonen an.
Spielen bei mir 5 Zonen und ich wähle das "alle Zonen II (Pause) Symbol, gehen auch nur diese 5 Zonen aus, keine andere an.

BTW @hismastersvoice: Welches Spotify Plugin verwendest du im LMS? Der originale Musikserver verwendet ein altes Spotify Plugin von Triode (Version 2.3.9), welches wohl schon länger durch Spotty (?) abgelöst wurde? Lese mich da gerade etwas ein, da bei mir einige Playlisten haken, via Spotify App aber tadellos laufen.

OK, der Fehler ist das Pause nur ausgeführt werden darf wenn der Player auch auf Play steht, und nicht immer.
Bis jetzt reiche ich Pause einfach an den LMS weiter, da muss vorher noch ein Check rein ob die Zone auch spielt.

Mach ich für das nächste Update.

Not nice to get now answer... Does it work now?

I'm OK with the clarification as the same is for using my headphone amplifier. Set SW volume to 100% and regulate on the amplifier. Same is working here but didnt tried the change on channel volume in MS4L as I'm ok now with setting of proper aplifier gain and setting volume in squeezelite clients. Sorry for delay but I am on vacation lol.

Hallo zusammen, leider ist meine Installation irgendwie in die Wüste gegangen! Wollte auf Version 0.7.4 Update das ging schief danach hatte er einen appache2 Fehler. Gibt es die Möglichkeit irgendwie ein Backup vom Music Server zu machen gerne auch über ssh. nur wegen der ganzen einstellungen. und alles einfach neu zu installieren! LMS sollte auch gebackut werden.

Wäre super wenn mir jemand helfen könnte!

Die Zeile am Ende das eine txt-Datei nicht geschrieben werden kann einfach ignorieren, kommt daher da normal das WebUI diese Datei liefert.

Einspielen am besten über WebUI

Der Fehler könnte in der "etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default.conf" liegen.
Sollte so aussehen...

Danke für die Hilfe Super Arbeit, leider hat das alles nichts gebracht! habs neu installiert und die alte SSD an den PC angeschlossen, so konnt ich zumindest die Einstellungen aus den Dateine Rauslesen! funktioniert alles wieder besten, und nun auf Debian!

Was mich aber zu meiner nächsten Frage bringt. gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Einstellung vom MS kpl MS, und die LMS einstellungen und Favoriten zu sichern, automatisch. per Job. Die Music daten liege eh nicht auf dem Server, diese Liegen auf einer NAS somit kein Problem

i now cant get a working installation of the beta on any of my previously working hardware
windows and/or linux install fully working without a hitch - using debian 10.4
ms4l beta installs
i can find and configure the usb csl sound cards
lms is up and running
when i create an internal zone, the system crashes the web server/interface and i see messages relating to mysql errors

the hardware is dell micro, i5, 8gb ram, 500gb sata ssd, csl 7.1 usb sound cards
it crashes whether using 1 or 2 sound cards
after the crash, the system reports having an internal zone, but the icon stays red and wont start
if i try to alter/delete the zone i get another crash

i have another PC exactly the same hardware which works with the 1st beta of 1 and debian 10.3 and has been upgraded to lastest software and its still working fine - all very odd

i also have a fujitsu intel i7 laptop 10gb ram and 500gb ssd that was working fine with the release version/ubuntu, but now i get the same problems of crashing with debian 10.4/ beta ms4l

answering my own problem here - i just went back to debian 10.3 iso net install and all my hardware now works perfectly! - must be an issue with 10.4 or the dvd1 iso i downloaded

tried to night a fresh installation on 10.4, from "net install iso" work like expected.
So looks like the used iso was the issue.
